NLP can help you kickstart your life back into action by asking these three questions:

  • What do you really want?
  • What is preventing you from having it now?
  • What is your strategy for getting it?

NLP will help you dig deep into the workings of your brain to find clarity about where you want to be heading in life.

It can then help you release whatever it is that is holding you back from getting there.

Feeling skeptical? I get that. Keep going.

NLP can affect almost any area of your life.

People report being more successful in their careers, in money matters, in relationships, in business, in learning, and in achieving their personal goals. Many report help with health issues.

What Exactly is Neuro-Linguistic Programming…?

I’m guessing you may have heard of it. It has a mixed reputation—some say it can be used to manipulate people and uses mind control techniques, while others call it brilliant and effective as a quick change agent, bringing success and transformation.

Perhaps the truth is somewhere in between.

Let me ask you this: If you could wave a magic wand and be able to do anything that you wanted to do with your life, what would that look like?

An impact in an area you actually have some control over? Like:

  • health and weight
  • relationships
  • finances
  • business and career.

Are you interested in identifying why you haven’t got it yet, and how you can get it?

Welcome to the World of NLP!

Please read on.

If there are things in your life you really want to change, without resorting to drugs, surgery, or psychoanalysis, NLP might be just the process you’ve been looking for. It works, it’s safe, and has absolutely no side effects. It’s also a lot of fun.

NLP can help you retrieve your long-lost self-confidence, lose weight, get fit, and have more control over addictive behavior. It can even accelerate learning a new language or finding your purpose in life. How about being more successful in your career?

Michael Neill, coach extraordinaire, defines it this way:

“…Neuro-linguistic Programming (NLP), a methodology designed to help people hack their own brain…”

NLP is quite simply a smorgasbord of effective and easy psychological techniques…

…for getting your life to work better. It is phenomenally fast and effective and can help you get rid of long-standing problems —and sometimes feels like magic.

It is also a form of reverse engineering:

  • Look at what is working well
  • Backtrack to find how it was done
  • Unpack those successful strategies and use them on your less successful goals.

Now, what about you?

Like almost everyone, I imagine there are times in your life when you feel stuck and unmotivated. You’re in good company—welcome to the the human race.

NLP can help you get unstuck, get that project off the ground, change that bad habit, and get back in flow.

It’s pretty addictive even without drugs, so watch out. I went for an NLP introductory weekend back in 1997 and didn’t emerge until 2001. Obsessed? You bet. It’s like taking a magical mystery tour that never ends.

NLP skills and techniques are outlined in a plethora of books and videos you can find online. Most of them are best done with an experienced NLP practitioner, at least for the first time.

That would be moi! I am a Master Practitioner and Certified Trainer of NLP and have nearly 20 years’ experience with a number of techniques that can help you. I include NLP in all my Life Coaching and Hypnotherapy sessions.

How NLP got started

NLP was created and developed in the 1970s in California by John Grinder, a linguist, and Richard Bandler, a computer scientist. These two were interested in what determines excellence and success and decided to hook up and study closely the methods of several extremely talented and world renowned therapists.

They distilled the skills and language patterns of these high achievers into a broad umbrella of procedures—NLP— that can help you understand what you need to do to achieve excellence, as well as make changes more rapidly and easily than you may have thought possible.

When you are getting older this can be especially encouraging. How many times are we told that achieving something will take years of practice—10,000 hours by some reports—and we just don’t feel we have the time? NLP addresses this issue. You can do lots of things quickly. You just need to use successful strategies.
